Culliver last week said he wouldn’t want to have any gay teammates. Then came what today is the inevitable: Public apology, sit-down with journalists, and volunteering to work at a pro-homosexuality charity—in this case, The Trevor Project.
(The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. The Trevor Project is a Champion of Change, an honor presented by the White House for “innovative work to save the lives” of LGBTQ young people.)
Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Organizations like The Trevor Project might help to prevent suicide, but it does nothing to provide life. Christ Jesus said,
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
